#1 - BE A 'LIBRARY BUDDY'

Volunteers are needed to serve as Library 'Buddies' for homebound individuals who utilize our Free shut-in library services. You will interview prospective clients for the service to determine reading interests and special needs (Large Print, etc), and assist the client in obtaining a Gila County Library Card.

Every two weeks or so, you will check out books on the client's Library card and deliver to the client's home, and return books already read.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to work with homebound and disabled individuals.

#2 - ASSIST WITH LIGHT DUTIES AT THE LFOP bookstore

This position involves working with the public, manning the checkout desk in our Used Bookshop in the Payson Public Library. Duties include maintaining the cashbox, recording purchases of new items, issuing receipts for book donations, cleaning shelves, sorting donated books and assisting customers find what they need.

Light lifting, speaking and reading English, being able to work alone if necessary.
