In a departure from past events, our Annual Taste of Rim Country Chef’s Extravaganza fundraiser was held at the Library. Within the cozy stacks, 8 establishments sent their best chefs to submit unique Appetizers and/or Desserts to vie for the coveted People’s Choice award.
 

The winner this year was the Majestic Rim Senior Apartment's Chef Karl, who offered a delicious shrimp appetizer and fruit tart dessert. Zane Grey Dining Room at Kohl’s Ranch took second place honors with wonton appetizers and chocolate mousse dessert.
 

All benefits from raffles, tickets and auction items benefit out Building Fund. This will enable us to furnish our planned Library expansion with state-of-the-art furnishings.

Our sincere thanks go to the following participants: Majestic Rim Senior Apartments, Zane Grey Dining Room, Gerardo's Italian Bistro, Payson High School Culinary Class, Buffalo Bar and Grill, Red Elephant Bakery, Cedar Ridge Restaurant, Chili’s Restaurant, and the Payson Institute of Learning.
 

We also thank APS, DJ/Announcer Fred Carpenter, Library Director Terry Morris and her staff who planned the event, and all the volunteers who poured wine, sold tickets, greeted guests, and helped with the set-up and clean up. It was another evening of good fun, food, and fellowship, all for a great cause!
